DEA S.R.L.S. is the Italian company that develops and runs ZeroTrustDrive. We are a team of web and product professionals focused on B2B security, based in Bologna with a team distributed across different parts of the world: developers, encryption experts, compliance and infrastructure specialists who work every day to make business data truly inaccessible to anyone who isn't authorized — us included.
We are not a large multinational, and we don't want to be: we are a lean, technical and pragmatic team that chose to specialize in a single problem — the security of business data — and to solve it well, with no compromises.
Our mission
Companies today rely on dozens of different tools for files, communication and collaboration, often without really knowing where their data ends up. We believe security and simplicity should not be in conflict. That is why we built ZeroTrustDrive: a platform that brings together end-to-end encrypted storage, sharing, chat and video calls in a single environment, designed for business teams that cannot afford to compromise on the protection of their information.
Experts in GDPR, NIS2 and data security
We operate internationally, with particular attention to the European regulatory landscape. Our team closely follows the evolution of GDPR, NIS2 and the other compliance standards that today affect more and more companies, regardless of sector or size. We design our products starting from these requirements, rather than adding them as a later layer: 100% European infrastructure, zero-knowledge architecture, complete audit logs and no data transfers outside the EU are choices made upfront, not optional features.
ZeroTrustDrive: our flagship product
ZeroTrustDrive was born from the concrete need we see every day in the companies we work with: a single secure space for files, communication and collaboration, without having to piece together different tools that don't talk to each other and often offer no real guarantees on data protection.
With ZeroTrustDrive, files are encrypted directly on the user's device, before they are even uploaded: the keys never leave the client, and our servers only ever see encrypted data that not even we are able to read. Alongside this we offer tools designed for real team work — workgroups organized by department, granular management of permissions and guest access, integrated chat and video calls — all on a fully European, redundant infrastructure that is compliant by design with GDPR and NIS2.
Our approach
We believe in a zero-trust model: no user, system or server is granted implicit access to data. It is a technical principle before it is a commercial one, and it guides every choice we make, from product development to the way we manage our infrastructure and our relationships with clients.
We work with companies of every size, from small organizations approaching structured information security for the first time, to larger organizations with complex regulatory needs. In both cases our goal stays the same: to offer solid, transparent and genuinely secure tools, without complicating the work of the people who use them every day.
